  Tim made the whole experience back then fun and laid back on the surface and fun and relaxed under the water. So much so that 10 years later i'm still diving with him and have over the years qualified to resuce diver. I have met many other divers over the years also diving with Tim and whenever you go back you always bump into someone you've met before.

  The shop is really convenient for people, 150m from the beach in Americas, near several bars and shops etc. As this dive shop is more personal, less commercial there is no extra charges for things like photos, they just genuinely want you to enjoy the experience and are happy to work around you and the rest of your holiday. Finally, I thought the prices were very reasonable too and I will definately return.

  Everyone is very friendly and relaxed but in no way lax or unorganised. Unlike other dive centres on the island or in the area the service is not a conveyor belt style, cramming too many people on trips with poorly supervised " instructors ", there is no rush or pressure to get down until you are totally happy with your gear and relaxed.

  Had a great time diving with Tim! Shore-dove 6 tanks and saw cuttlefish, flounder, ray, octopus, eel, cuda, and many more critters. Also dove on a tugboat wreck and caves. Felt comfortable and safe before, during, and after dives. Great on safety checks, as most other outfits don't really BWRAF verbally. He lended me a mask as we found mine had a leak (@ 30' under) and also a flashlight/torch so thanks again for that!

  The diving was first class, safe and fun and Tim has a teaching style second to none. Never do you feel on put on the spot, Scuba is intended to be fun and with The Dive Shop Tenerife it really is.

  Offered extremely convenient pick-up and drop-off through the front desk of the resort. He had a camera and I opted for the photos. Great photos! Would do it again if this Yankee ever makes it back over to CI.

  We then took a trip to a local beach with Tim and Nigel who were great fun to be with. With the banter back and forth I felt that we had been mates for years. The dive was absolutely fantastic and the highlight of the holiday for both my daughter and I. It truly was an amazing experience. We dived to 7 Metres and we were underwater for 41 minutes. We even got to meet a giant turtle and stroke its shell. Most importantly both my daughter and I felt completely safe whilst in the very capable hands of Tim and Nigel. Tim even took some underwater photos (all part of the service).

  My daughter (21 years old) and I (51 years old) met Tim and Nigel whilst on holiday in Tenerife. Tim came to the Fairways Club where we were staying and offered people around the pool a free go a scuba diving. My daughter and I gave it a go and decided to try it for real in the sea (for a very reasonable fee). A few days later Nigel picked us up and took us to the Dive Shop where we answered some health questions, had a safety briefing followed by a tick box test to make sure we had understood the basics.

  If you go to Tenerife look up The Dive Shop - you should seriously consider giving scuba diving a go. You won't regret it!
